Valencia is a beautiful city of culture and has many museums, art galleries, cultural events and festivals. The most famous Valencian festival is ‘Las Fallas’, a week long festival of aural and visual delight, culminating in the burning of the 800 Fallas sculptures scattered around the city centre, accompanied by incredible fireworks. Most Fallas sculptures are so big that they are never seen in entirety up until the assembly on the first day of the festival. The entire city turns into one big street party for the whole week where the streets are busy and full of people day and night.
