One of the most anticipated pre-Christmas traditions with the locals took place in Denia last week, the famous Medieval Market. Over 80 stands were set up in the town hall square and the streets of Consell and La Mar, Diana and Magallanes giving holiday shoppers the chance to buy a great variety of food and craft items.
In addition, there was demonstrations of artisan crafts, storytelling, jugglers, magicians, dancers and musicians. The children could enjoy merry-go-rounds, water wheels and a children’s playroom with board games.
