Also nearby is the nature reserve at San Pedro del Pinatar where you can enjoy a gentle stroll or more strenuous hiking. And if you fancy a round of golf you will be spoilt for choice – as well as the championship courses at La Manga resort, there are golf clubs at Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor and La Finca – all within easy reach.

With 3000 hours of sunshine a year and average annual temperatures of around 17°C, you will be able to enjoy an outdoor lifestyle here all year round. Lo Pagan has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops and the busy resort of Torrevieja is only around 20 minutes away by car – with three excellent hospitals, good schools and all the amenities you might need. Getting here is easy – there are excellent road and rail links (as well as a ferry) and Murcia’s San Javier Airport is less than 10 kilometres away (Alicante airport is around 65 kilometres away).
